Still an original idea
The current one (not at the time those lines are written, but at the time you read them) is

Over the past years, regularly the computer has checked for a wide area network connection and sent its pictures. Incidentally, I had two very nice ones (at least that I noticed). The first one (8th March 2006 -- The background on that one is Andrew Wiles, the British mathematician who proved Fermat's last theorem in the 90s) was taken just when I was using Expose and the second one (9th May 2007) the tab :-)

Anyway, the surprising thing is that after all that time I think that I am still the only one on the Internet doing that. Talking with few friends, turned out that they would be scared, if not deeply annoyed, if the same program was running on their computer (as if there would ever be something so much of a weirdness on their screen...). Maybe one day, somebody else will do the same :-)
