Candies
I have just been robbed by a bunch of little Dutch girls who wanted some candies for Hallowing. I tried to explain to them that cashew nuts do count as candies, and are even better than candies. Not sure I actually managed to convince them. Anyway, I am out of breakfast now.
Kids! ... or maybe I am just getting older..

Ah, people do celebrate "kind of Halloween" on 11 Nov in Holland! I think they call it St Martin's Day, right? Did they sing songs when they asked for candies? I think they sing song instead of saying "trick or treat".
I remembered last month when I took Debby and Alan to Oxford and having a drink in a pub, a little "Halloween" girl came to us and asked for money (not candies) :-(
