Swimsuits II

Pascal avatar When I came back from work today, I decided, for the sake of my own SF education, to Google for Battlestar Galactica, so I could learn more about it. I quickly noticed the following picture

... and kept thinking "that's funny, I have already seen this somewhere!". Quick search on the weblog and I found that entry (a weblog entry that I wrote 17 months ago!), with the following picture

That's really funny because while writing my previous entry on Grace Park, I actually kept thinking that there was something similar between Aubrey and that Korean girl, and I am not only talking about their body, but something else... Probably my mind had made a connection that my conscience was was aware of yet.

Now, I only need to find that polystyrene swimsuit, and take another picture of Aubrey.... (^.^)

Incidentally I have always thought that even though I don't know them precisely, there must be extremely precise rules governing the fact that I like a girl or not (I mean physically), probably the same rules, or same patterns which govern my taste in art, in music, and also which of the daily deviantArt [deviantart.com] pictures I like or not.

Maybe one day I should go through something like 10,000 dA pictures from random subjects, take the 100 ones I like the most and try and find a common pattern or characteristic.

I think I have almost found the rules for my taste in music. I think I could teach to someone to recognise with a very high degree of accuracy which music I like. I am not talking about something as inaccurate as "I like classical and dislike everything else". In my case, it is not about the genre, not about the country or origin, not about specific singers or any of those basic ways of classifying music (this is the main subject of arguments between me and iTunes for instance...). In every genre, in every artist, there are some I don't like and some I that like, and I know that all those I like share a common pattern. I have never tried to put it in writing because it would not fit to be described with words. It's really something one would have to hear.

Coming back to girls, even though I have not given much thoughts to it yet, I have heard a couple of my ex girl friends at uni (in Paris) claim that they had figured out the rules of my liking in girls. So I guess that it should not be so difficult for me to actually figure out....

In all cases, I already know that the rules governing my overall taste (in girls, pictures, music, etc.), are extremely self centred, they all say something specific about me. I guess that some of those rules might even hold the keys to some key aspects of my personality, and also some of the key things I want to say to the world.

Anyway, what was I doing already ? Ahh yes, Battlestar Galactica ...
