Aubrey has been bugging me for the past week about a gift that I should buy for her. I had no idea what she was talking about and obviously didn't pay attention. But last night when I suggested to her that I would be working all week end at the bank to catch up with various things (including more than 250 unread emails in my inbox -- I have 13000 unread emails in my deleted emails box, but usually my inbox is very clean), she said that actually the day after (today) was our third year wedding anniversary and that if she doesn't get an actual very beautiful and very expensive gift she would kill me, ... twice :-)

So this morning I woke up very early to get to the bank very early and do some work. We are due to meet at the Apple Store later this afternoon for a date, but I really wonder when and where I will have time to get that thing for her (not to mention not having a clue of where to invite her to restaurant afterwards).

I think I now understand those folks at Silicon Valley who are over busy, and pay other people to do their shoppings. Maybe there are some websites where I could recruit students for the day to go and spend some money on my credit card ...
