New Horizons's Pluto flyby

Tomorrow, 14th July 2015, at exactly 11:49:57 UTC ( 07:49:57 EDT ) New Horizons will be the closest any man-made object has ever been from dwarf planet Pluto (taking lots of pictures in the process). At that moment it will actually be 12,500 kilometers away from the surface of planet; to put things in perspective that's 3.57 % of the distance between the Earth and the Moon, making the pictures' resolution a mere 0.27 km/pix.
