Saving the day at work
Having your boss coming over at 5.30pm and telling you that there's an urgent programming job to be done: very short notice.

Having to tell the trader to come back "in half an hour" just the time for you to pop up in the Mac Donald and take a late lunch to avoid death by starvation: very unhealthy.

Missing your Japanese lesson: not good.

Being told that you will have to code in VBA very very awful.

... later in the evening (freshly written baby code running all fine)...

Having the trader smiling at you, saying "thank you" 10 times and telling you that actually you have done in 3 hours what had been screwed up by some consultants who were actually hired to do it but failed (leaving the bank in trouble) : Priceless (^.^)
