Uncle Petros and Goldbach's conjecture
Uncle Petros and Goldbach's conjecture
By Apostolos Doxiadis

Just read it, and among all the books I read in my life, this one has a particularity: it is the first ever book that I read cover to cover without literary putting it down once (1). I started reading it in a restaurant a bit after lunch time and just finished it. I am glad it was only 200 pages and could be read in 10 hours (2), as I would simply not have put him down until the end, even on the face of death by sleep depravation :-)

(1) When I read "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time", I did sleep once between the beginning and the end, maybe because I started to read it late at night...

(2) By some standards this is slow reading but I read many of the paragraphs several times, at slow motion for pure enjoyment :-)
