Danny Hillis: Understanding cancer through proteomics

My first TEDMED talk, and I was very glad to discovered that I wasn't the only one to think that cancer is not actually a disease... (not is the general sense of the word). I particularly enjoyed the analogy of DNA as list of parts (and not recipe). That the normal development of the body requires cells to talk to each other and that this conversation is not encoded in the DNA itself. Thinking of it, this makes a lot of sense.
